Prepare for Your Next Appointment

The time allocated for your consultation is very valuable. To make the most of it and address all your concerns, we recommend that you prepare your visit in advance by following these guidelines:

Before Your Appointment

  • Confirm Your Appointment
  • We recommend confirming your appointment before attending. You can use the Salud Andalucía App, a safe and convenient tool to manage your healthcare and receive important notifications.
  • How to Confirm and Receive Notifications About Your Appointment:
    • Download the Salud Andalucía App if you have not already done so.
    • Open the app and tap the icon in the top left corner to open the side menu.
    • Go to the AviSAS section.
    • Activate notifications if prompted by the app.
    • Log in securely using your digital certificate, Cl@ve system, or mobile QR login (advanced registration required).
    • Once logged in, tap Subscribe.
    • Select the type of subscription you want and your preferred communication channel (e.g., mobile or email).
    • After subscribing, you will start receiving notifications directly to your device.

Organize Your Transportation

  • Plan to arrive with sufficient time, especially considering possible traffic.
  • Come Accompanied If Necessary
  • If you have difficulty reading, writing, or understanding Spanish, please come with a relative, friend, or translator.

What to Bring to Your Consultation

  • Medical Reports: Bring previous reports and recent test results from outside healthcare centers if available
  • Health History: Write down significant illnesses and medications you are currently taking.
  • Medication List: Include the names, doses, and schedules of all medications, including over-the-counter and herbal remedies.
  • Allergies: Inform your doctor if you have any known allergies.

Upon Arrival at the Hospital

  • Use the ticket machines at the entrances to obtain your location ticket:
    • Scan the QR code on your appointment letter, or
    • Select "I have an appointment" and search using your DNI (National ID) or your first surname and date of birth.
  • The ticket will show your waiting room and consultation number. You will be called when it is your turn.

During the Consultation

  • Write down your main symptoms and questions beforehand.
  • Bring a notebook and pen to take notes.
  • You will receive an updated medical report for yourself and your primary care doctor.

After the Consultation

  • Verify Personal Information: Check that your name, address, and phone number are correct. Notify the public information desk if any corrections are needed.
  • Prescriptions and Instructions: New treatments will be prescribed or updated directly on your health card.
  • Follow-up: You will receive instructions for your next steps and follow-up care.
